The team at Bellarine and Westcoast Refrigeration have learnt many years ago that we cannot compete with the major retailers when it comes to the supply of domestic refrigeration so we don’t.
We specialise in the supply, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration.
Do you repair domestic refrigeration?
As a warranty agent for Mitsubishi Electric we repair Mistubishi Electric domestic refirgerators that are under warranty. Mitsubishi Electric provide superior after sales spare parts and techinical support and our relationship with Mitsubishi Electric allows us access to this technical and spare parts support. So we offer repair services for Mitsubishi Electric domestic refrigeration only.
We do not repair or service other brands of demestic refrigeration.
Do you supply domestic air conditioning?
Domestic air conditioning, split systems, ducted units, ceiling cassettes (any more) are a key part of our air conditioning offering. Our expert team can help you select and design the most suitable air conditioning solution that meets both your comfort and budget requirements. As fully trained and licensed refrigeration and air conditioning specialists, the team at Bellarine and Westcoast can design, supply and install commercial air conditioning solutions.
Do you install domestic air conditioning?
Yes we do and we do it really well.
The installation of air conditioning should be left to the professionals. You can be assured of the quality of the installation you get using a fully qualified and licensed technician.
Bellarine and Westcoast employs fully qualified refrigeration and air conditioning professions supported by electrical professionals and apprentices training to become fully qualified refrigeration and air conditioning professionals to install air conditions.
We do not rely of unskilled, untrained or unqualified staff to install your air conditioner and neither should you.
We proudly say we service what we sell or to put it another way, we only sell domestic air conditioning units that we service. As authorized warranty agents for Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, ActronAir and Teco air conditioning units we are fully qualified to know exactly how to install you new air conditioner to comply with manufacturers requirements. As warranty agents, we are often called to look at units where the installation has been done in such a way that the 5 year manufacturers warranty is potentially voided. The cost of a voided warranty can be far greater than the few dollars you may save going with the cheapest, and most likely less qualified and less skilled installer. If you want the job done right the first time, call in the experts.
How often should I have my air conditioner serviced?
According to air conditioning manufacturers getting your air conditioner serviced on a regular basis improves operating performance, reduces running costs, reduces the risk of breakdowns and prolongs the life of the unit. Most manufacturers recommend a 6 monthly service of your air conditioner.
But the answer to the question of how often you should get your air conditioner serviced depends on the operating conditions; in high traffic areas, service frequency needs to be increased but with lower traffic areas less frequent servicing is fine. Ask Bellarine and Westcoast for a preventative maintenance schedule proposal.
What is involved in an air conditioning service?
Servicing your air conditioner involves more than just cleaning the filters, although cleaning the filters is one of the key tasks. The full list of tasks we undertake when servicing your air conditioner are:
- Checked / Cleaned Air filters
- Checked / Cleaned drains
- Check / Clean evaporator and condenser coil
- Checked / Adjusted Electrical connections
- Checked for any undue noise; Pipe vibration or bearings
- Check safety circuit is operating
- Check operation of remote control
- Checked Overall condition and report

If I have purchased an air conditioner elsewhere, will you install it for me?
Of course we would prefer you come to us to get the right advice on the best air conditioner to suit your heating and cooling needs as well as your budget. If you have purchased an air conditioner we will do the installation for you.
What warranty period do I get with a new air conditioner?
Air conditioning brands we sell and recommend come with a 5 years manufacturers warranty. And as warranty agents for the brands we recommend and sell, in the unlikely event that something goes wrong with the unit (or the installation), we are the ones that will return to fix the issue.
My new air conditioner is not working properly, what should I do?
If your new air conditioner is not working as it should, the first thing you need to do is call the installer and let them know. They should return to site and conduct a diagnosis of the problem and advise you of the cause of the problem.
If the problem is an installation fault they should fix the problem. If the problem if potentially warranty related they should provide you with the contact details for the manufacturer who will call a warranty agent to assess the problem. If the problem is warranty related the warranty agent will fix the problem at no cost to you. If the issue is not warranty related you will need to pay for the repair.
The worst case scenario for you is if you have had your air conditioner installed by someone who has failed to comply with the manufacturers installation guidelines and your warranty is voided.
